Vancouver Emergency Community Telecommunications Organization (VECTOR) is the City of Vancouver’s amateur radio program. In close partnership with the city Emergency Management Office, we plan, build, maintain and operate communications facilities for disaster and routine community service.

Annual General Meeting December 3

Please be advised the Annual General Meeting of the Vancouver Emergency Community Telecommunications Organization will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the E-Comm building, 3301 East Pender St., Vancouver BC. Members in good standing are eligible to vote on motions, nominees, and stand for positions.

VECTOR Exercise Saturday November 8

VECTOR will run a city-wide disaster staging exercise on Saturday November 8. If you are able to participate and have not already communicated your interest, please contact vicepresident@vectorradio.ca.

VECTOR Weekly Radio Net

All members and all Vancouver-area radio amateurs are invited to participate in our weekly Wednesday net. Details:

When: Every Wednesday
Time: 20:00 hours
 QSY: 2M VE7TEL frequency RX 145.170 MHz TX Offset -600 KHz
      70CM VE7TEL frequency RX 442.875 MHz TX Offset +5 MHz

This net is a controlled net following a standard format.
