Celebration of Light

VEMA needs VECTOR at the 2022 Celebration of Lights. Our operating hypothesis involves volunteers serving the event like we did in 2019.
Interested VECTOR volunteers: sign up now to help prepare (planning, logistics).
Civic service in 2019 involved several elements:
- a specified number of buddy teams patrolling the zones at the event
- logistics details serving each side of English Bay
- net control operators serving in the on-site coordination post
- preparing equipment for use
- delegation at the EOC
Equipment we are likely to deploy:
- APRS trackers
- handheld radios
- mobile repeater
- remote APRS gateway
- deployable radio station grab and go kits
Immediately after Field Day, we will begin planning the shifts (operations).
