Training Course for the Amateur Radio Operator Certificate with Basic Qualification
VECTOR Training prepares students for the Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED, formerly known as Industry Canada) Amateur Radio Operator Certificate with Basic Qualification.

Students receive a copy of VECTOR’s proven and continually updated Amateur Radio Basic Qualification Course Book. Our team of enthusiastic instructors will help you work through the material and ISED requirements.
In addition to the classes, students should be prepared to spend at least several hours per week for four to six weeks to study and to do practice exams on your own.
Course Details
Course Length | Unless advised otherwise the course will run for four consecutive Saturday mornings. |
Course Materials | Students are provided a copy of VECTOR’s proven and up to date Amateur Radio Basic Qualification Course Book. |
Exam | An ISED accredited examiner conducts the exam after the course. |
Classroom Hours | Class typically starts each Saturday morning at 09:00 and concludes by 12:30 pm. |
Classroom Locations | Venue with classroom setting in the City of Vancouver |
Fee | $120 (by credit card or e-Transfer) covers all classes, course materials and the exam. |
