Policy: Code of Conduct

Posted in policy

VECTOR is committed to ensuring all members feel welcome and safe in our community. At our 20th Annual General Meeting (December 5th, 2018) VECTOR members ratified a Code of Conduct policy that puts into words how we’ve tried to conduct ourselves over many years.

An excerpt from the VECTOR Community Code of Conduct pledge:

In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, VECTOR members pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age, mental or physical disability, personal appearance, body shape, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, sexual identity and orientation, education, socio-economic status or level of experience.

If your Amateur Radio organization borrows or adopts a similar code of conduct (you may borrow ours freely and share alike), drop us a note to [email protected] to let us know.
