- July 3, 10:00, 1.5 hour or so
- Members testing the Radio Room, Fire DOC, and DSA1 (Nelson Park)
- Members learning what to do (always room for a learner)

Celebration of Lights This Month - help our community!
Your chance to use your radio skills to help people directly address individual emergencies. We will use our full stack from field observers through net control operators into the EOC.
Public Safety and VEMA need us in the field for this “controlled emergency.” Map.

Health care is circulating invitations for our annual immunization for Influenza and COVID-19.

Scam alert: urgent gift card requests are frauds
Be on the lookout for a thief pretending to be Jesse VE7DET or someone else you know to urgently request gift cards. The thief could pretend to be anyone you know.
Each person contacted Jesse VE7DET to confirm and averted financial distress.

City Hall Rooms Unavailable Without Staff Chaperone
Using a city hall room will require one of our city staff colleagues to attend the entire event. We are exploring other options (libraries, community centres, universities, colleges, and neighbourhood houses).

6. Weekly Net
Catch the weekly net at 20:00 every Wednesday on the VE7RVF repeater: VECTOR channel 1, 145.450 MHz -600 kHz.
Each week, a secondary net follows on a different frequency, providing opportunities for amateur radio operators to test radios using other bands and modes of operation.

7. Monthly Members' Meetings
VECTOR gathers on the first Wednesday of each month at the ECOMM meeting room to keep its operations flowing.

All at the E-COMM Media Room, with Zoom connection open.
