Field Day
VECTOR is running a 1-day Field Day operation for 2026, on Saturday, June 27th, in Queen Elizabeth Park.
We’ll be in our traditional spot on the south slope dog off-leash area, beside the tennis courts off of 37th Avenue. The best time to stop by will be in the afternoon between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

We’re trying something new for Field Day 2022!
We’ll be running as a one-day event on Saturday, June 25th, 2022
from 11:00 until 18:00.

Attending a VECTOR packet night has shown me a couple of ways we can explore packet radio beyond the message transfers we do in RMS Winlink (or Pat) and VCTPacket. You can find several active packet radio sites in our area to explore and practice using a few simple steps.
