The 2015 Vancouver Sun Run communications organizers are seeking radio amateurs to volunteer for the Sunday April 19th Sun Run event.

Repeater VE7VCT (145.55 MHz output, input -600kHz) is operating in a degraded capacity off a temporary antenna while work on the primary structure is performed.

Early Sunday morning Andrew Martens VA7VCO, Mike Watkins VE7WV, and Gary Webb VA7GMW met up at VECTOR HQ to load up their vehicles with a wide variety of surplus equipment and headed out to Queensborough Community Centre to participate in the annual Burnaby Amateur Radio Club Swap Meet. There we met up with Mike Montour VE7ABP who helped staff our table.

Attention all Radio Amateurs - VECTOR will have a table at the annual Burnaby Amateur Radio Club Swap Meet this Sunday.

On Sunday morning a small but mighty group of determined VECTOR members ventured into the depths of our communications container at E-Comm.

Thanks to the on-going success of our Amateur Radio License & Examination Course VECTOR is looking to add additional course sessions each year.

Chief Constable Jim Chu asked that his message be sent to all his volunteers. He will be greatly missed, and on behalf of Vector I would personally like to thank the Chief for his exceptional work and his support and recognition put forth to the volunteers that support our great community.
