Effective Thursday, April 2nd, 2020 and until further notice, VECTOR will host at 19:05 on VE7RVF 145.45 MHz a daily Health & Welfare net for the benefit of our nearly 200 members, hundreds of VECTOR alumni, and the broader Metro Vancouver area amateur radio community.

VECTOR’s radio installation at Firehall #5 continues to take shape as antennas and repeater equipment are installed, bringing repeater VE7RVZ 147.200 MHz +600 kHz, Tone 100 Hz, to life.

We have lots of plans for this amazing site. Stay “tuned”!

Note, this repeater was once called VE7ICS; the frequency has remained the same but the input/output tone has been changed to 100 Hz. An update to the VECTOR frequency list (see item number 20) has been made to reflect this. Please update your personal equipment accordingly.

VECTOR will hold its next Basic Amateur Radio Certificate Course starting Saturday, January 4, 2020.

VECTOR is proud to announce the latest graduates of the VECTOR Radio Skills Course.

This four week course is a natural follow-on to obtaining your Amateur Radio Certificate of Proficiency. We cover topics of interest to any amateur radio emergency communications operator.

VECTOR Annual General Meeting

The 21^st Annual General Meeting will take place on December 4^th at Trout Lake Community Centre at 19:00 (7:00 pm). This is an opportunity to review the past year and direction for the future.
